Belot Score — Privacy Policy
Introduction
Belot Score (“the App”) is a mobile application that helps you track scores for card games such as Belot and other simple card games. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is collected, how it is used, with whom it is shared, how long it is kept, and your choices — including how to withdraw consent and request deletion.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Developer
- App name: Belot Score
- Developer: Aqua Marine Studio
-
Android package / iOS bundle ID:
com.vasil.cardgamesscorer - Contact: aquamarinestudioos@gmail.com
Summary
- Game scores, player names, and settings are stored on your device. We do not operate a login system or a backend server for your scores.
- The free version may show ads through Google AdMob, which can collect advertising-related data off your device.
- Optional in-app purchases (including ad-free access, extra features, and subscriptions) are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to confirm what you bought.
- The App may use Google Analytics for Firebase to measure how the App is used (screens, sessions, and similar events). This data is not tied to a name or email we collect.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Paid features do not require you to allow tracking or ads.
Request deletion of your data (Belot Score)
This section is for users of Belot Score by Aqua Marine Studio. The App does not create accounts. Follow these steps to request deletion of data we control.
- Email aquamarinestudioos@gmail.com with the subject Belot Score data deletion.
- If the request involves a purchase, include your Google Play order ID or the email / Apple ID used for the store. Otherwise write that you want analytics or purchase records deleted.
What we delete (usually within 30 days of a valid request):
- RevenueCat customer and purchase records we can reasonably identify
- Firebase / Google Analytics records we can reasonably identify (app-instance / usage data associated with your request)
What is deleted on your device when you uninstall the App or clear its storage:
- Game scores, hands, history, player names, and settings
- Local purchase-entitlement cache
We do not keep a copy of your game scores on our servers.
What we cannot delete on your behalf (use their tools; they keep data per their own policies and retention periods):
- Google AdMob / Google advertising data
- Apple App Store and Google Play billing history
- Device backups (iCloud / Google Backup)
Uninstalling the App stops new local and analytics collection from that installation. It does not cancel a subscription; manage subscriptions in Google Play or your Apple ID.
Information stored on your device
The App stores the following data locally on your phone or tablet:
- Game scores, hands, and match history
- Player names you enter
- Your optional display name
- App settings (theme, language, display preferences)
- Recently used player names
- A local cache of purchase entitlements (for example, whether ads are removed) so the App can work offline
We do not receive this game data on our own servers. Your device’s backup settings (for example iCloud Backup or Google Backup) may copy App data to your Apple or Google account. We do not operate those backups.
Accounts
The App does not require an account with us. There is no developer-operated login, profile, or cloud score account to create or delete. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID or Google account through the store, not to an account we host.
Information collected by third parties (advertising)
Unless you have purchased an ad-free entitlement, the App may use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may collect information such as:
- Device or advertising identifiers (on iOS, the Identifier for Advertisers / IDFA only if you allow tracking; on Android, the advertising ID if available)
- App interactions related to ads (for example, ad impressions or clicks)
- Diagnostic information related to ad delivery
- Approximate location or other signals Google uses for ads, depending on your device and regional settings
This data is transmitted off your device to Google and may be shared with advertising partners according to Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Advertising Policies. Google acts as an independent controller for this advertising data.
You can learn more about how Google uses data from apps that use its services here: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Information collected by Firebase / Google Analytics
The App may use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect aggregated usage metrics so we can understand which screens and features people use and improve the App. By default this SDK may collect:
- An app-instance identifier (a random ID for that installation, not your name or email)
- Android Advertising ID, if available (you can reset or limit this in device settings)
- Approximate location derived from a masked IP address (for example city or country), not GPS
- App lifecycle events such as screen views and sessions
- In-app purchase events (product ID, name, and price) when a store purchase occurs
We do not set a personal User ID, enable Google Signals, or upload your game scores or player names to Analytics. We do not use Firebase Crashlytics; the App does not send crash-log files to us for this purpose.
This data is transmitted to Google over HTTPS and is used for analytics (how the App is used). Google processes it as our analytics provider. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS, if the App wants to use the advertising identifier to deliver personalized ads or measure ads across apps and websites, Apple requires permission through App Tracking Transparency. You may see a system prompt explaining that the identifier is used to deliver ads and measure ad performance.
- If you tap Allow, Google may use the advertising identifier for personalized ads and measurement.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track (or later turn tracking off), the App will not access your advertising identifier for tracking. You can still use the App, including paid features. Ads, if shown, should be non-personalized where Google supports that.
You can change this later in iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also limit Apple’s own ad personalization under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising. Learn more: Control App Tracking permissions on iPhone.
In-app purchases
The App may offer one-time purchases (for example removing ads or unlocking features) and auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive or store your full payment card number, bank details, or Apple/Google password.
We use RevenueCat to validate receipts, restore purchases, and unlock entitlements on your device. RevenueCat may receive:
- Purchase history and subscription status
- An anonymous App User ID generated for the purchase SDK
- Store transaction / receipt information
- Device type and operating system
We do not send your game scores or player names to RevenueCat. RevenueCat’s practices are described in RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy. RevenueCat processes this purchase data to provide the purchase service.
How we use information
| Data | How collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Local game data and settings | Entered or generated in the App and stored on device | Scoring, history, and settings inside the App |
| Ad-related data (via AdMob) | Collected by Google when ads are requested or shown | Third-party advertising and ad measurement |
| Purchase history and entitlements (via stores and RevenueCat) | Created when you buy, restore, or subscribe | App functionality (unlock paid features) and purchase analytics for us as the developer |
| Usage metrics (via Google Analytics for Firebase) | Collected automatically by the Analytics SDK (app-instance ID, screens / sessions, optional advertising ID, approximate location from IP, purchase events) | Analytics: understand usage and improve the App |
We do not use your local game scores for advertising. Advertising identifiers are not required to use scoring, history, or paid features.
Third parties and equal protection
We share or allow collection of user data only as described in this policy, primarily with:
- Google AdMob / Google — advertising and ad measurement
- Google Analytics for Firebase — app usage metrics
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase validation and entitlements
- Apple and Google Play — store billing, refunds, and account-level purchase records
Any third party with whom the App shares user data — including advertising networks, purchase SDKs, and related service providers — is required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy and as required by applicable store rules (including Apple’s App Review Guidelines).
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies:
- Local app data: processed to provide the App functionality you request (performance of a contract / requested service).
- Advertising data: processed by Google as an independent controller. Where required, we ask for consent through Google’s consent form (UMP) and, on iOS, through App Tracking Transparency before using data for tracking. You can withdraw consent as described below.
- Purchase data: processed to fulfil your purchase and restore entitlements (performance of a contract), and as needed to keep records of transactions.
- Analytics data: processed to measure and improve the App (legitimate interests). Where required, we rely on consent (for example through Google’s consent form / UMP).
Data sharing
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your locally stored game data with third parties.
- AdMob / Google may share ad-related data with advertising partners as described in Google’s policies.
- Google Analytics for Firebase sends usage data to Google to provide analytics to us. We do not sell this data.
- RevenueCat, Apple, and Google process purchase-related data to complete and restore purchases.
Data retention
- Local app data remains on your device until you clear app storage or uninstall the App (device backups may keep a copy until you delete them).
- Data collected by Google for advertising or Analytics is retained according to Google’s policies.
- Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat according to their policies and as needed to restore purchases and meet legal accounting requirements.
Your choices, consent, and data deletion
Withdraw consent (ads / tracking)
- In the App: Settings → Ad & privacy choices (opens Google’s privacy / consent form where available).
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads (reset advertising ID or turn off ad personalization; labels vary by device).
You can keep using the App after withdrawing consent. Personalized ads may stop; non-personalized ads may still appear in the free version.
Delete App data on your device
- Uninstall Belot Score, or
- Android: Settings → Apps → Belot Score → Storage → Clear storage
- iOS: delete the App, or Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Belot Score → Delete App
Purchases and subscriptions
Manage, cancel, or request a refund through the store that charged you (Apple ID subscriptions / Report a Problem, or Google Play subscriptions / Play refund flow). Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Contact us / request deletion
For privacy questions or deletion requests related to data we control, follow Request deletion of your data or email aquamarinestudioos@gmail.com. We will help with data we control (for example asking RevenueCat or Firebase to delete records we can reasonably identify). We cannot delete data held by Google or Apple on your behalf; use their tools and settings for advertising IDs, store purchase history, and backups.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for the Apple App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will assist with deletion of any data we control.
Security
Data transmitted for advertising, analytics, and purchases uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Local data is stored in the App’s private storage on your device.
International transfers
If you use the App outside your home country, ad-related, analytics, and purchase-related data may be processed by Google, Apple, and RevenueCat in countries where they operate, as described in their privacy documentation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
